Our Mission
Our aim is to reflect God’s love for His people, by loving our neighbors as we love ourselves. We believe that our neighbors are not only those who live near us, but in our community and around the world.

NEW OPPORTUNITIES TO VOLUNTEER!
Church Spaces for Rent
Are you looking for a versatile space for your next recital, performance, or meeting? Our church has the perfect solution! We are a historic church located in downtown Rockville with comfortable theater seating in the Sanctuary. It can accommodate 110+ people and is handicapped accessible. Excellent acoustics make it ideal for musical performances.
Our Fellowship Hall and Classrooms are perfect for smaller gatherings or rehearsals. The fellowship hall is adjacent to the sanctuary and is a great place for receptions. It can also be used as a green room for musician warm-ups and equipment storage.

Following the risen Christ, and seeking to make the Church a true community of hospitality, the mission of More Light Presbyterians is to work for the full participation of all people in the life, ministry and witness of the Presbyterian Church (USA) and in society without regard for race, color, national origin, gender, age, disability, sexual orientation, or marital status.
At the core of Presbyterian identity is a secure hope in the grace of God in Jesus Christ, a hope that, by the power of the Holy Spirit, empowers us to live lives of gratitude.
