Worship and the Arts

Music Ministry

The music ministry at RPC serves the community with uplifting music and inspires the congregation in praising God.

Our worship services are enhanced with organ, piano, keyboard, instrumental soloists, as well as adult choir, praise team, instrumental ensemble and bagpipes on Reformation Sunday. All groups are composed of church members and friends who volunteer their time and talents for the love of God and the community of Christ.

Ephesians 5:19: “Speaking to one another with psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit. Sing and make music from your heart to the Lord”. I believe that all God’s children can sing and ring to the glory of God.  All are encouraged to use their God given talents to do so.

Worship Choir

The Choir is comprised of adult volunteers whose passion and talent is singing. The choir practices every Sunday at 9:45, and lead Worship Service in song every Sunday.

Hand Bell Choir

Ringing bells has been a long standing tradition at Rockville Presbyterian Church. A 3 octave Bell choir comprised of volunteers from the church and the community.  Join us, you need not know how to ring or read music. If you have a good sense of rhythm and a desire to work as part of a group, consider becoming a ringer in the Bell Choir. This multi generational group enlivens our worship by ringing hand bells for Sunday services and special events. Practice is on Sundays from 12:00 – 1:00 P.M.
